Nail Party

My fabulous neighbor invited Shan and me to a ladies night — tanning and nail party. What a fun party! I thought I should share the idea with all you.. Call all your girls, bring a bottle of wine, your favorite nail polish and an hors d’oeuvre to share. Good clean fun.

My attempt at a more modern look.

My Style: Comfy Day

This is basically my go-to outfit for a casual day. I have been wearing rainbow sandals for YEARS and leggings are my best friend. I even have a light sweater similar to this one, but mine was a tad cheaper, ok…way cheaper. Shhhhhh don’t tell anyone.
A comfy outfit for those lazy days when you just don’t feel like getting all glammed up.

Butter London Nail Lacquer

Yummy Mummy and Toff

Shanny got me some beautiful Butter London nail lacquers. I just love these colors! They are so pretty and the best thing it that Butter London is a 3 free company– meaning no formaldehyde, toluene or DBP. “They believe in color, not carcinogens” I like that!
Butter London
Yummy Mummy: Our ‘magic’ lacquer. This medium beige colour is simply stunning on EVERY skin colour. If you can’t decide on a lacquer, then we will for you. It’s this.

Toff: A darker, dustier, brownish variation on a rose pink. Stop to smell them. The roses, not the toffs.

Rococo Gold Leaf Lacquer

Rococo Gold Leaf Lacquer. A glossy, fast drying topcoat formula with 24ct Gold Leaf.
So lovely!I tried using gold glitter to achieve the same look — it just doesn’t cut it. Looks like I’ll be needing a bottle of my own.
Brush it over bare nails for to create an ethereal, gold-flecked manicure, or layer it over any solid colored polish to create an editorial-style effect. Warning: People will demand to know where you got it done. — spacenk
