It’s and strawberries & “cream” kind of morning!
Like most people, Dan and I usually have pretty hectic weekday mornings. We’re up with the sun; make a pot of coffee and a quick breakfast. I’ve found it helpful to keep lots of frozen fruit in the freezer so we can make quick and easy breakfast smoothie bowls. 3 min or less!
There isn’t much to do for this recipe, just blend and enjoy! Place the ingredients in a high speed blender. Blend until desired consistency is reached. This smoothie parfait is very thick so pour/layer it into your favorite bowl and serve with a spoon. Or if you’re in a hurry you can pour it into a jar with a lid and take it with you.
Bottom layer: 1 frozen banana, 5 frozen strawberries and 1/4 cup water. Blend.
Second layer: coconut milk yogurt.
Third layer: sprouted buckwheat groats. Repeat the layers!
Top with fresh strawberries, buckwheat groats and fluffy fresh bee pollen + a cup of black vanilla coffee and papaya on the side! Breakfast is served!
